Crown Raising removes the lower branches from a tree in order to provide clearance for buildings, vehicles, pedestrians and provides light underneath the canopy. Crown thinning is a more drastic form of pruning, its the removal of an entire shoot, limb, or branch at its point of origin and this provides light through the canopy.
Crown reduction pruning is most often used when a tree has grown too large for its permitted space. This can be accomplished by reducing the height and or spread of a tree by selectively cutting back to the smaller branches, and for fruit trees this will increase light interception and enhance fruit quality.
Felling is the process of downing individual trees in a safe and controlled manner, but if there isn't the space we can dismantle the tree safely in smaller sections.
We also provide Tree Stump Removal to make the space usable again for laying turf or replanting. Please get in contact for more details.
